peace out.

I'm in a weird spot with this ol' blog here... I don't have much time for it anymore and my original plan to hop on the keyboard whenever I got a spare moment isn't working out so well. I was recently told - not so politely - by my not so polite little sister that I need to post everyday or not at all. Those were my choices as apparently these sporadic entries of mine are, "getting annoying".

If only there was some sort of technology that could convert my mind posts into blog posts. After 2 years of SaigeWisdom updates, I considered following the lead of my 3 year old nephew and calling it quits...
But I'm not ready to give it up just yet so hopefully you all aren't too annoyed and will bare with me and my 'I have a son named Gabriel who doesn't like to be put down' blogging schedule.

Don't stop blogging! I love your posts, regardless of how sporadic. Isn't the whole point of the Blogger dashboard or an RSS feed so that we are notified when you post? If you keep writing, I'll keep reading, for sure!

I totally get it, Sara! For me it wasn't being busy, it was health... I stepped away from blogging for about 6 months (my previous blog, DesignTies, shared with Kelly, now from JAX Does Design) because I was so overwhelmed and stressed with what was going on with me. When I finally got back to blogging (with my new blog), I was determined to not let the pressure of posting regularly deter me. I love connecting with my blogger friends, and I enjoy posting about my projects... so I made a deal with myself that I wouldn't stress about infrequent posts. Blogging should be enjoyable, don't you think? Nothing enjoyable - or healthy! - about stressing!

I hope you'll keep blogging and that you'll find that all important balance between blogging all that's important to you!!

You shouldn't stop blogging just because you can't blog everyday. None of the people I follow blog, every single day. That would get really annoying. Take time for your family, that's way more important. Besides, your followers will be here when you do post. ^_~

you don't have to blog everyday! that's ludicris. It takes some time to get into a pattern to post and babies don't make it easy that's for sure. I have a blogging friend who actually does alot of her posts on the weekends when her husband is home and then preschedules them to post throughout the week. Maybe that might help. But either way, some people only post like once a week and that's good enough too.

Oh that was scary. I totally thought you were telling us you were quitting the blog. That would seriously break my heart because I LOVE your blog.

Also - I'm going to let you in on a secret. I don't read blogs that post often (I'm talking more than three times a week).

1. I can't keep up.

2. I can't relate to people that have time to blog every day and I NEED to relate.

So, you know, if you want to keep me as a reader - DON'T BLOG EVERYDAY!

And clearly I'm the most important reader? No? Hmmm.....

I think you should blog whenever you want to blog. Who says there are rules - it's the internet for heavens sake!
that's my comment :)

Oh that is a silly reason. If the people reading are following you, they don't have to check every single day because it will just show up either in their email or their blog roll or their reader. So that is not a good enough reason! (sorry, sister)

But I do think taking breaks is important. Get your thoughts together, get motivated again... I've had to do it and it's good to get refreshed before starting up.

It will be so sad if you quit... I just started reading your blog and love it!

Don't quit! I'm so glad you visited my blog today: and I totally empathize with your sentiment here. BUT... I've been posting 5-7 times per week since November, and it can be so DRAINING. That's why I decided to sloooow way down this month. Your kids are so much more important!
