the possibilities of penmanship.

what have I been up to lately?

clearly not blogging.

we've been busy living. sweeping in between snacks. raking in between naps. rushing out the door with backpacks and half eaten pieces of peanut butter toast. my truck's a disaster, my split ends are appalling, the laundry is never-ending and our tv officially ended (as in died). oh and those renos? they just keeping ticking on and on and on...

the electrical, plumbing and ducting are finito and we can finally get down and dirty with the insulation and drywall. I seriously cannot wait for Trev-bob to sashay aside and let me have have my fun - paint, flooring, window treatments, lighting... ALL those diy's and decor ideas I've been pinning so diligently.

doubling the size of our house means bye-bye savings and hello to twice the wall space. therefore I've been scouring blogs, magazines and Pinterest looking for affordable and not-too-difficult-looking art projects to tackle.

as mentioned before, our heavily folded, tear stained wedding vows sit in a box somewhere. my intention was to frame those sentimental pages and make them part of a Knol family gallery wall, but... fast forward 7 years (and the introduction of Pinterest) and I'm now considering turning them into large scale art. I found a couple of tutorials {see below} that could have me blowing up our 2006 handwritten vows and transferring them onto canvas/wood.
1  //  2  //  3  //  4  //  5  //  6

the scripting possibilities are endless
poetry
song lyrics
a family recipe
a meaningful quote
anything in a foreign language

what words would your write on canvas or wood?

I know I've been sucking hind tit when it comes to sharing photos of my hectic life and kooky kids {you guys are great at reminding me}. and I know I promise this all.the.time. BUT I just finished brushing up on Photography Concentrate's Extremely Essential Camera Skills and hope to start using Pentax Pete real soon. promise ;)

In the meantime you can find us crazy Knol's on Instagram: @saigewisdom or on good ol' fashion Facebook.

Have a grrrrrrreat week gang.

I bet that would look so cool! We just used the traditional vows, no tear stained papers for us.
