In my attempt to block out the indescribable pain that is child birth, I visualized all the wonderful mother/daughter moments I would get to look forward to - swimming in the ocean, shopping for prom dresses, camping in the backyard, licking cake beaters; it helped take my mind off the 'holy f*!k I wanna die/I'm gonna die' mantra [if only for a second] and I'm super Pumped #notethecapitalP that 2 of these 'delivery room checklist' items became a reality over Easter Break:

1. teach Saigers how to ride a bike (sans training wheels)

and

2. ski down a mountain together

It's crazy to think I was well into my 20's before boarding my first chairlift and now my 4 year old is one blue run away from out skiing me.

Her fearlessness leaves me breathless.

Wonderful!!!
How I envy you, Sara; not just a beautiful daughter, but a beautiful FEARLESS daughter!! When they get older, girls tend to lose that fearlessness as they start to compare themselves to others. Show her posts and videos like this to remind her how brave and wonderful she is! Help her to never doubt xoxo

Awesome. :) I too, have a fearless girl. Started skiing when she was 2 and now, 10 years later, scoffs at double blacks. Oh, the horror. I don't know where she came from...I watch through the steam coming out of my hot cocoa!

There's always a silver lining and you...have found it!

that video is awesome! I'm 29 and have yet to ski! Now I did go snowboarding once, but I ended up being toted down the run in a bodybag, behind a snowmobile, so I don't really count that as a productive experience. :)
